Gentle and specific treatment to help you be at your best
Andrew Hewitt D.C.
Andrew is a skilled Chiropractor with 26 years experience
Andrew is a member of the British Chiropractic Association
Andrew is registered with the General Chiropractic Council
Andrew graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1989 and has practised all over the Uk from the north of Scotland to the south coast. He loves living in West Sussex with his wife Kirsty a social worker and their son William. Walking the dogs, gardening and tinkering in the shed and on his somewhat knackered Land Rover seem to swallow up most of his spare time although the odd round of golf wouldn’t go amiss.
Your First Visit
First, Andrew will take a thorough history of your condition and your general health.
He will then perform a physical examination, assessing your spine and any other joints that need to be considered whilst you are standing, sitting and lying down.
Next, Andrew will discuss the findings of the examination, covering possible causes and what form of treatment would be most effective for your condition (this may include other disciplines or referral back to your GP).
If your condition is expected to respond well to chiropractic care then a treatment plan will be discussed and explained. This is when you can ask Andrew any questions regarding your condition.
There is a strong emphasis on your role in making yourself better and advice on home care, exercise, posture and diet will be given.
Your first visit is therefore the longest (up to one hour) and will normally include your first treatment. Follow up sessions will be shorter depending on your condition.
